The Pioneer Years
The story began in 1920 with the inspirational journey of Mian Fazlur Rehman who earned a reputation for being professional and sincere in his dealings while trading goods at Lyallpur, which was an eminent trading center in its early years. He later secured a contract with a cotton business and after some years established his own cotton and ginning mill in Multan in 1936 followed by the inception of a textile factory, known as United Textile Mill and simultaneously, an edible oil company, in 1950.
